Studying under Wolfgang von Schweinitz and Andrew McIntosh, Gabe graduated from CalArts in 2023 with a BFA in composition and a specialization in tuning and microtonality. Their work is centered around just intonation, field recordings, improvisation, and natural systems.

As well as being a composer, Gabe is an instrumentalist and performer. They’ve been involved in contemporary and experimental pieces, as well as solo jazz guitar performances.
